Pay to Blog Plugin Causing Fatal Error

I received this message upon upload and attempted activation. I then went to another version and uploaded and activated only to have my blog stop working. I can login to the admin panel but can’t do anything after that.

Please advise.

I just deleted the plugin from the wp-plugin folder. I attempted to move it to the mu plugin folder only to have the entire blog go down. So I attempted to install once again and below is the message(s) I received.

Here is the error message from within the admin panel of my blog:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function pay_to_blog_account_output() in /home/content/s/d/r/sdromnus/html/omegacafe/wp-content/plugins/440647243_pay-to-blog-1.5.2-1/blog.php on line 34

    Hiya,

    1) You need to remove all of the plugin files from /plugins/ and /mu-plugins/

    2) You need to reinstall following the instructions. Each file goes in a specific place. You don’t just chunk the entire plugin folder in /plugins/.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

I am a little confused about having to place each file in a specific place. Isn’t the purpose of a plugin to download, upload, install, activate and it’s working?

Does the specific plugin work if I use another template?

The purpose of a plugin is to extend functionality. Please open install.txt (located in the zip file) and follow the instructions.

Obviously we can’t force you to follow the instructions but you’re not going to get the plugin to work until you do. I’m not trying to be rude but there’s a reason installation instructions are provided.

    Thanks,

    Andrew
