select blog theme at signup plugin

IS there a Free plugin for Buddypress that allows users to choose a theme when they signup for a new blog on buddypress? The only thing I can find is a premium plugin at buddydev bpdev-select-blog-theme-at-blog-signup.zip

    I’m with Dr Mike as I could just imagine new users getting stuck on which theme will I choose and not getting any further as they can’t make a decision. It’s amazing how many hours you can spend choosing a theme to only change your mind and go through the whole process again.

    Perhaps a better approach would be like a step-by-step process after they’ve signed up of things they could do to improve?

    Heck yes. Wait until you install a css editor plugin. That’s when (Dang, we’re on the front side.) your lovely and wonderful clients start experimenting. And widgets! Don;t forget widgets.

    We make the suggestion in our default post as one of those “first things to do when you get a new blog” checklist items with links to the help section on choosing a new theme as well as the page that leads to the demo blogs..
