We’ve been discussing the use of Adsense over in my neck of the woods and I want to follow up over here. One of my clients, who runs adverts along the top of all their blogs recently had their account closed by Google. We’re thinking because those adverts displayed on all of their blogs, include the adult, the spammers and the warez sites before he got a change to mark those blogs.
And while we can’t discuss percentages and whatnot, most of the folks over there aren’t real happy with what returns we’re seeing.
And don’t get me started with the adverts that they’re displaying on my sites.
Anyone else care to mention what system they’re using on their blogs?
I sent an email off to Project Wonderful a few days ago asking if they would be interesting in a sitewide display on a blogging site like they do with some webcomic groups.
