Edu-clean with BP 1.2

I’ve been using the Edu-clean theme with buddypress 1.1 (using the default BP theme for the, um, BP parts) without major issues for quite a while.

Now that I’ve updated to BP1.2, it wants to use the Edu-clean theme rather than the much more basic bp-default or whatever the new default is.

Obviously, edu-clean is not optimized for displaying BP layouts. Is there a way that I can create a similar arrangement as I had before, with edu-clean displaying on the front and bp-default taking care of the BP display?

    could you elaborate more on this issue?

    the edu-clean are buddypress compatible but it only compatible up to bp 1.2.1 since the

    activity core had changed in bp 1.2 onward so if you’re using bp 1.2 it will had the function() error

    when viewing activity components.

    I installed BP 1.2.1 and I don't receive any errors, just layout issues with widgets and such. See in the image how the text and avatars are crowded and misaligned?

    Prior to installing the latest BP, when I looked at any of the pages from the BP menu, I saw a very plain (I presume BP-default) theme rather than edu-clean. That worked fine for me as I assumed that the default BP theme would grow with BP as it matured — and I wouldn't have to mess with keeping themes updated until it stabilized.

    I'm not sure if using the BP default theme is still possible, but I started working with the Template-Pack that Sarah suggests with edu-clean and it appears I will have a bit of work to do to get the layout working well.

    the edu-clean theme are already bp compatible..i don’t think you need to apply template pack to it.

    did you download the latest edu-clean theme and upload zip/themes/edu-clean & edu-clean-child

    to wp-content/themes/

    it should be working with all the bp component cssed.
