2 Problems I'm Experiencing

I’m experiencing 2 problems with this plugin

1. PNG transparency isn’t being applied

2. When uploading an avatar via ‘admin–> settings –> blog avatar’ it works, but it doesn’t exhibit the avatar in ‘admin –> users –> your profile’. That area still shows the default avatar.

    Hi Corey,

    The plugin loses PNG transparencies during the cropping process, I’m afraid. We haven’t received any requests for transparencies that I can see so I hope you don’t mind my moving this to the feedback forum for further consideration.

    The avatars in the User section would have to be done via the individual profiles. Basically, you add in an avatar at the bottom of your profile page, which is different from the blog avatar. I’ve just gone through a test of that and noticed the avatar reflected in the user list and profile. Could you please verify you’ve done that?

    Ah….. I see. I thought the avatar would be consistent…whether it be a blog avatar, or a profile avatar.

    I’ll have to add something to let people know about this and what the difference is. I thought it would be applied to all areas where the avatar would show.

    As for the PNG transparency, thanks for adding that to the feature requests. I think it would be a worthy thing to add. I like to use my logo for an avi and those are generally PNG. It helps to leave the background transparent so that it can assume whatever the theme colors are and not stick out like a sore thumb.

    At least that’s how I see it.
