Email Accounts for the Subsites

Hi,

I need your help, please, I’m getting crazy with this problem.

I have a multisite installation, and my clients build theirs subsites by themselves.

I would like to know how you allow your clients to create email accounts for them. Do you use some email service? Or something?

Please, give me some direction.

    I hope you are well today and thanks for asking the question.

    You can create email accounts from the hosting control panel. What hosting company are you on? It’s depend on your hosting plan that you are using. Kindly check with your hosting company regarding this.

    If you are using cPanel then you can use this http://wordpress.org/plugins/cpanel-operations/ plugin to create email account via WordPress.

    You can create email accounts from the hosting control panel. What hosting company are you on?

    I’m using a brasilian hosting, but they do not know about multisites. They support conventional single instalation wordpress. In this case, they offer email accounts for the domains.

    But in a multisite, I can not create emails from my hosting, because they consider my mulsisite as single project and allow to create email accounts for the main domain only.

    That’s why I’m getting crazy. I do not know what to do.

    Hey again.

    If they’re using their own domain names and sending them in via A Record they can control the MX Records and point them to Google for example. This would let them use Googles email service. See here:

    This can be done with other mail servers too, but gmail is pretty cool.

    If you’re wanting to provide them email addresses at your own domain then you would need to get custom as this isn’t something WordPress would handle. Sorry.

    Not sure of anything for WP, but something like Hivemail might help:

    http://hivemail.com/

    Ultimately though you might still require some custom development.
