I want to clean my Cloud Storage

Hi, is there a way to clean my cloud storage without entering site by site?

Also, if there is a site doing Automated Backups but I don’t have access anymore to that site, what would be the best approach to deactivate that site? Reset the snapshot key?

    Hello Manny Costales,

I hope you are well today.

Hi, is there a way to clean my cloud storage without entering site by site?

Unfortunately, at this time there is no way to centrally manage your cloud storage. Managed Backups are managed on a per site basis. However, this would be a useful feature so I will mention this to our Dev Team for further consideration.

Also, if there is a site doing Automated Backups but I don’t have access anymore to that site, what would be the best approach to deactivate that site? Reset the snapshot key?

If this is a site you no longer manage, it would be best to contact our Accounts Specialists via Live Chat so they can disassociate the site from your account.

Let us know if you have any further questions. We’ll be happy to help!

    Thanks James,

For the first question: I don’t mean to manage my backups globally, I only want to delete them via Hub, without login to the site because I don’t have access anymore.

For the second question: I don’t want to disassociate the site, I don’t even want the site to stop doing local backups, I just don’t want it to steal my cloud space.

    Hello Manny Costales,

For the first question: I don't mean to manage my backups globally, I only want to delete them via Hub, without login to the site because I don't have access anymore.

I'm afraid that option is not available at this time. I will flag this ticket for a Feature Request so our team can look into this further for future updates.

For the second question: I don't want to disassociate the site, I don't even want the site to stop doing local backups, I just don't want it to steal my cloud space.

You can disable Automate Backups directly in the Hub.

Then, in the site's Snapshot configuration, you can disable Managed Backups scheduling, if enabled. You will still be able to manually perform a Managed Backup, if desired, but it will not run automatically. There's no need to reset your Snapshot key.

I hope this clarifies a bit.

    Hello Manny Costales,

If the site is still listed in your Hub, but you no longer have access to WP Admin, you can disable Automate on it as shown above, but yes, you will have to reset your Snapshot key to force disabling of Managed Backups if enabled on the site. However, resetting this key will force you to re-enter it on all your sites.
