Import Snapshot Backup Into New Hosting

I’m trying to restore a backup from the managed backup, to restore the site on your new hosting service, but it is failing, I uploaded the files manually and got the site working, but the wp-config file was replaced, and I need to set up the database on your server too.

Can you help me?

    Hi Nick Simpson

    How are you today?

We had a chat yesterday, and I was able to get the site online uploading the wp-content folder from the backup.

However, when the plugin tried to restore the Managed Backup, it overwrote the wp-config.php file as well, the current site is working under the old database information on the wp-config.php.

Unfortunately, when the plugin did it, we lost the database information for our Hosting, to recover the credentials we will need to create a new site backup, restore an old backup to extract the DB user and pass, then reinstall the current site back to migrate the database from old server to the current one.

I would need some information to make this works.

    Hi Nick Simpson

    Thank you for the credentials,

To avoid any conflict or the site become offline on the process.

I created a new WordPress on your account and imported all content from the old server database and wp-content folder as it should also be done updated all links on PHP my admin to avoid any potential conflict.

Now the database is correctly imported on our hosting service, and you will not have any further problem with the database or the wp-config.php file.

However, the last step is to remove the domain from the current site, and set on this new site, making the appointments necessary to new IP.

After you make these new appointments, log in on new site dashboard ( as it is an import from the old site, the user and password still the same), verify if is everything ok, if so, you can remove the old site from your hosting portal, and from the old server.

Let us know if you need any further help on this.

    Best Regards

The only problem I see, is that it seems that Beaver Builder is broken. Is there any known conflicts with this page builder and an WPMU plugins? I have added Smush Pro, Hummingbird Pro, Snapshot Pro and SmartCrawl since I have tried editing pages.

    Please advise,

    Nick

    Hi Nick Simpson

Sorry to hear that you have this problem.

We have a reported issue with Smush CDN and Beaver Builder, can you disable Smush CDN and check if the problem is gone?

Also, we try to keep threads separated by subjects, could you please, create a new thread for this problem and our support team can take a look for you.

    Best Regards,

    Patrick Freitas
