[Smush] "Failed parsing srcset attribute value since its w descriptor is invalid"

After activating Smush CDN I’m seeing errors saying “Failed parsing srcset attribute value since its w descriptor is invalid” in the console.

    Hello Anastasiya,

    hope you are well and sorry to hear about the issue you encountered.

    After some research, I was able to temporary solve the issue by disabling “Enable automatic resizing of my images ” option in Smush CDN – when it’s disabled this error doesn’t show anymore.

    Also, I pinged our developers to check this issue and they will need to have a closer look at your site’s PHP logs and DB so would you please provide us with your cPanel and FTP logins.

    Hello Anastasiya,

    Hope you are well and thanks for sending your logins details.

    After debugging we can see the following error in your debug.log is what causing this issue

    https:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0

    To fix this error, can you please contact your hosting provider and ask them to set allow_url_fopen=1in PHP settings to enable wrapper in the server configuration.

    After that please enable this option “Enable automatic resizing of my images ” in Smush CDN settings then check if the error still there or not.
