Existing user can not create sites

I replaced Pro Sites with WP ultimo for my businesses. I have a multisite where new visitors can create a website but now I need a solution where logged in users can create a site.

    I’ve just been setting up a multisite network with WP Ultimo and I noticed there is an option in each ‘Plan’ to enable the number of sites that be created on that plan. The multiple sites per user option in the ‘Network Settings’ tab of the main settings for WP Ultimo also needs to be selected. I think with these two settings, logged in users will see an option in their dashboard to Add a new site.

    What it doesn’t offer (I don’t think) is the option to automatically change their plan or make additional charges, if they add new sites – but a logged in user can upgrade / downgrade plans from within their dashboard, so there’s the option to get them to switch if you create some new plans with the options for multiple sites.

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

    I logged in to your site using that “client user account” that you provided during the chat and once I clicked (as a logged in user) on the “create website” link in the footer, I was takein to the “Add New Site” page in site’s back-end. I believe then that you found some sort of workaround, is that correct? If so, could you tell me, please, what that is?

    I’m asking because I’m also not quite sure if that’s actually how it’s supposed to go because, apart from checking that “as a user”, I also accessed your site later using support access that you granted (so as a super-admin role) and checked that “client user” account:

    it seems that while the account is at “subscriber” role on the main site, it also has a PRO plan subscription – which would allow unlimited number of sites to be created – but… subscription is inactive. I believe that with inactive subscription user shouldn’t be able to create any site. Have you tried to actually activate this user’s subscription and check if it’s working then?
