[Defender Pro] Creae Method to Associate Files with their plugins in defender

0

Hi,

CAn you please create methods to easily associate suspecious files with their respective plugins and make it easy to remove the plugin if its not wanted right in the defender interface? I have to deal with suspicious functions in files at times and want to be able to easily figure out which plugin they're associated with.

    Hi cornelius_butler,

What Defender does is list out files and folders which isn’t the part of default WordPress core. In general, all the plugins files reported would be pointed within the plugin folder, under /wp-content/plugins/plugin-name/ in the Defender Scan scans.

When it comes to 3rd party plugin there isn’t any easy way to determine if the files created outside the plugin folder are part of a plugin or not without manual checks.

I have to deal with suspicious functions in files at times and want to be able to easily figure out which plugin they’re associated with.

Could you please point out which all plugins or files that you have noticed in such context so that we could have a better idea regarding this, and look further into improving the workflow.

    Regards,

    Nithin
