[Hustle Pro] Hustle Feature & Integrations

0

I’ve yet to use Hustle so apologies in advance if either of these options already exists.
Feature 1: This request involves using a form to register subscribers. When a user completes the form it creates a WordPress account for the user and sends the user a link to reset their password. It also contains the ability to configure double opt-in on the mailing list.

Backstory: I use a product called InboundNow which added this feature upon request. It also allows you to create rules which, for example, integrate with a mailing system to send follow up emails to the newly registered user. Sadly, the developer has halted development.

Feature 2: Can Hustle integrate with other Autoresponders? I purchased one called Sendiio. It has an API if that helps. I’m not a coder.
API: https://sendiio.com/pages/view/sendiio-api

Any responses appreciated

    Hello nusolutions

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your questions!

Feature 1: This request involves using a form to register subscribers. When a user completes the form it creates a WordPress account for the user and sends the user a link to reset their password.

This is not included in Hustle and I must say I wouldn’t expect it to be. Hustle was never meant to be that kind of plugin. It’s purpose is to provide you with tools to:

    – create content popups (and slide-ins/embeds)
    – create e-mail gathering popups/slide-ins.

So it also can help you catch vistiors’ e-mails and related data and also can be integrated with multiple external providers (such as e.g. MailChimp) but it cannot create user account.

You would need to use some separate plugin for this, though if it provides some sort of “shortocde” there is a chance that such shortcode could be used within Hustle popup.

It also contains the ability to configure double opt-in on the mailing list.

Hustle can gather e-mails and either store them locally (so you can export them as CSV and then import to some other plugin or service) or use integration with one of multiple 3rd-party providers. It also includes an “unsubscribe” option (you can create a dedicated page and add a special shortocde on it).

As for double-opt in that’s basically a matter of the integration that you’ll choose to use with Hustle to gather e-mails. If such double opt-in is enabled in such service (e.g. MailChimp or similar) then Hustle will gather e-mail and send data to that service and that service will send e-mail requesting subscription confirmation – so it’s kind of “outside” Hustle as Hustle itself doesn’t “manage” any subscriptions.

Feature 2: Can Hustle integrate with other Autoresponders? I purchased one called Sendiio. It has an API if that helps. I’m not a coder.
    API: https://sendiio.com/pages/view/sendiio-api

It already provides multiple integrations with services such as e.g. ActiveCampaign, Aweber, ConvertKit, GetResponse, MailChimp and many more. Unfortunately, Sendiio is not one of them yet. I’m not familiar with this service though so the question is whether they provide some API to be used.

I tried to find some information about them but the site I found that seemed “legit” was only taking me to the login form without any other options. Could you please point me to their official website (I’m clearly missing something) so I could check if there are any information about API access? If there’s some API I’ll ask our developers if we could integrate it with Hustle in future

    Best regards,
    Adam

Thanks for the response AC, I figure my requests would fall out of scope. Cool to know that Hustle will capture email addresses.

    Here’s API info on Sendiio.
    API URL: SENDIIO API

    Hi nusolutions

Regarding the feature 1 you requested, as my colleague explained, we don’t plan to add WP user registration feature to the Hustle’s built-in opt-in form BUT you’ll be glad to know that a solution for that would be possible in near future using Forminator(our awesome form builder plugin) and Hustle together. So basically, we are working on the custom login and registration forms module in Forminator and it will be released soon. When it’s released, you can basically create a user registration form using Forminator and embed the Forminator form into your Hustle popup, slide-in or embed and start registering new WP users from the Hustle modules.

I hope this would cater to your required used case.
