Fill in link that opens up a new page

I need some direction with a function that a client is requesting. They want their site visitor to enter a link into a pop-up (or just the form) that opens up the new page.

You can use this type of script http://jsfiddle.net/Gv5bq/ with some modifications:
```
jQuery("#btn").click( function() {
    var url = jQuery("#text").val();
    window.open(url);
});
```
I tested this on my site and it works inside Hustle popup. However, you will need to use own form:
```
<input type="text" id="text" />
<input type="button" id="btn" value="Submit" />
```
in popup Main Content:

[attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

And for placing the script I suggest using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-js/
and add the script in the Footer of the page.
