I have a couple of Defender issues

1) I can’t seem to get the Header based security tweak to work.
2) Defender Scan is not initiating

    Hi Fitri ,

    I could notice the anomalies you have stated. I could notice a 500 error in the console regarding the Defender scan. I checked via Plesk dashboard to see whether I could increase the max_execution_time, and max_input_time which is 30, and 60 respectively.

    Is there a way to increase these values? at least to 300 or 600 for the mentioned values? At the moment 30 is a bit low and could contribute to the scan to not fully work.

    I tried to increase the value by creating a php.ini file, but it didn’t seem to help much. Also checked via PHP settings for the respective domain, but I don’t see an option to change or update the value.

    Could you please bring this into your hosting team, and ask this to increase on your website behalf so that it would help us to troubleshoot the issue further.

    Regarding the Header Based Security tweak not working, is it okay to check whether it works by disabling all the plugins except WPMU DEV Dashboard, and Defender Pro?

    If you aren’t comfortable with us performing these test, is there a way for you to set up a staging(clone) site where we could further troubleshoot the anomalies with Header not working noticed? You could use a plugin like Shipper Pro to set up staging, or your host should help in creating a staging site.

    Hi Fitri ,

    It seems like the server resources are already increased. I re-ran a new Defender Security Scan, and it seems to work fine now.

    Regarding “Header based security tweak”, it seems like all the Security Tweaks are currently resolved without any issue. Is there anything specific I should be looking regarding this?

    Please do check, and let us know if you still notice any anomalies regarding this.
