[The Hub] Support Tickets on mobile

1

I was reading through some of my old support tickets, noticing a few that were resolved but I’d forgotten to close out.

That’s when I noticed… are we not able to close out tickets on mobile?! Huh… am I missing something, somewhere?

As an aside, I’ve been very frustrated with the poor quality of websites over mobile. I posted a thread about this last year, that it’s ironic that “mobile first” is such a #1 priority these days, but that so many sites simply don’t work on phones due to form issues, overlapping controls, and SO many other details. It’s like “mobile first” is a design pattern but developers don’t actually look at a mobile device to check their own work … and why should they when they have a 42″ 4K monitor? :grinning:

To be fair, I think some of this has to do with browser compatibility as well. Firefox over Android is pretty good but has some display issues. Chrome over Android almost as much. Android v11 itself has always been quirky. I’m no iGuy so I have no idea about Safari, Opera, or any other browser. Kindle with Silk? You deserve what you get.

So whenever we post a report about UI issues, it’s probably helpful and fair to indicate the kind of mobile device, OS, form factor, browser, etc.

    Hi splaquet ,

The forums are having quite an old design and haven’t been optimized for responsive use. Our team is already planning for a re-design where responsiveness will be looked at.

I’ll make sure all your feedback is brought to the team’s attention, At the moment, I’m afraid there isn’t any exact ETA regarding it as there are other priority tasks which our team is currently working on in the Hub side.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin
