[The Hub Client] A plan with no hosting

As well as letting customers purchase hosting through the hub, allow them to purchase a plan with no hosting and connect their site instead.

Useful for agencies that are selling a maintenance package using your plugins.

    Hi Peter ,

    At the moment, there isn’t such a workflow and it’ll require using the Client & Billing feature in such instances to manually charge the clients:

    The Hosting reseller feature is specifically designed to work with WPMU DEV Hosting platforms, trying to connect sites hosted on 3rd party hosting platforms can bring its own complexities when it comes to connecting the site as it entirely depends upon the hosting platform.

    However, I’ll make sure to bring your feature request to our team’s attention to check what further improvements could be looked at regarding such a workflow.

    Thank you. Yes I am aware there is a way to connect sites in the backend and I have done this. I just think it would be good to add the option to the billing portal as it gets awkward doing it manually.

    Hi Peter ,

    I got further feedback from our Hub Reseller team and would like to update you that they already have plans to allow self-checkout of products other than reseller products which should cover your requirement.

    At the moment, our team is working hard on implementing the Domain Reseller feature which has a high priority, so there isn’t any exact ETA we can provide when this feature will be available, but can acknowledge it’ll be considered in future.
