[The Hub] Customise icons in site list

It would be beneficial if there was a way we could customise the thumbnail icons of all the sites we have in the hub. Currently it was the first letter of the site name and the colour associated to make a thumbnail – we think it would be easier to organise our sites if we could add PNG’s to act as the thumbnail instead – is this something that’s possible?

    I hope you’re well today!

    There already are thumbnails and there is an option to set custom ones but you need to make sure first that you are viewing the “My sites” list in a “grid view” mode instead of a “list view”.

    So first, switch it to “grid view” using the switch here:

    [attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

    You’ll then see the thumbnails (automatically generated) for the sites out of the box.

    You can also customize them – upload your own – for each site by clicking on a “three dots” icon for the site and selecting “Settings” option (right below “Rename”) from the drop-down menu

    and then you’ll have option to update thumbnail

        could you please ask the devs to add an option to hide the site thumbnail entirely, even in grid view?

        I’ve asked if we could possibly add such option (to hide/disable) in future. I don’t have any response yet but fingers crossed.

        Oh and is that a dark mode for the Hub in your screenshots?

        The dark mode… yeah, well… I forgot to switch it off in browser (it’s “Dark Reader” Chrome extension which I’m using nearly for everything). I usually do it before taking screenshots but I completely forgot this time. Sorry about that.

            Maybe we will… who knows… ;)

            Just joking.

            We actually do have it on a list of things planned for future.

            To be perfectly honest there are tasks that we consider more important currently so they are priority (feature – related, especially related to Reseller tools) for now and for dark mode you can actually use browser add-on for now (just like I’m using aforementioned Dark Reader).

            But again – I confirm we do have it in our plans for future so it will eventually get there sooner or later (though no ETA yet).
