Summary:
Allow the use of dynamic placeholders (e.g., {{WebsiteTitle}}) in the App Title when applying a saved configuration across multiple websites in Defender Pro.
Problem Statement:
Currently, when applying a saved configuration from one website to another, the App Title in Google Authenticator is inherited from the original site where the config was created. This results in multiple 2FA entries in Google Authenticator with the same name, making it difficult to differentiate between them.
Since Defender Pro enforces 2FA for admins, users are unable to manually change the App Title before configuring MFA, leading to confusion and usability issues.
Proposed Solution:
Introduce a placeholder (e.g., {{WebsiteTitle}}) that dynamically replaces the App Title with the respective website’s title when applying the saved configuration. This ensures each site’s 2FA entry in Google Authenticator has a unique, recognizable name.
