What’s the status on supporting iDEAL and SEPA payment methods in Client Billing?

    Hi Julian

    Trust you are doing well today.

    I can see we have a previous ticket regarding this feature request, and our development team is aware of the request to support iDEAL and SEPA payment methods.

    However, there is no estimated time of arrival (ETA) available at this moment. We receive a large number of requests and prioritize our work based on the volume of requests and the importance of other features or issues.

    I asked our HUB team about this to see if we can provide any estimations.

      Yes, it’s been requested multiple times over the years. Since your billing system launched there hasn’t been much improved or added regarding payment methods. It’s very frustrating. The whole system is so inadequate that I may just have to look for an alternative site management system… and I would hate that.

    I’m really getting desperate about no support for these payments, we’re already waiting for such long time now and nothing seems to happen.

    We already had to skip WPMUDEV pro mail services because of US-only hosting which is a no-go for our EU clients.
    If we also have to skip billing wpmudev becomes less interested as a hosting partner for reselling.

    Please provide us with some clarification so we can make a discission and move forward.

    I hope you are doing well.

    We understand the frustration of not having a request implemented. Unfortunately, for this one we don’t have plans on near future, we are working toward on other HUB features and new updates are coming but they wouldn’t be related to payments. We will re-check the requests once those features are released but we can’t still guarantee this would be included.

    Thanks for your response and sorry to hear that.

    Our team working really hard to bring all the possible features as soon as possible but there are some features that takes times. However as my colleague mentioned above since the payment related are yet not included, we cannot tell when it is possible.

    We do understand the frustration and thank you for your patience.

    You may work hard at new features and sure I respect that but customers don’t buy features they want solution.

    Anyways, we now have at least clear sight that billing of wpmudev white label resell is not focused at EU markets.

    We look into making the reseller and billing system as compatible as possible for our customers around the world. We do have eyes on your request and we understand that Stripe dynamic methods may help bringing the local payment options to the service.

    When deciding the roadmap and next update we need to consider different factors which can reduce or increase the priority of the specific functionality.
