WordCamp Vancouver and BuddyCamp<\/a> took place this past weekend and I was fortunate to be able to make it to this historic event.<\/p>\n

Attendees included many of the core devs and contributors, Matt Mullenweg, and BuddyPress enthusiasts and beginners from around the world. People even flew in from places as far away as Japan and Germany. The rainy weekend in Vancouver could not stop BuddyPress fans from getting together to share and collaborate.<\/p>\n

Live streaming of the event was available for those who purchased tickets and each session was broadcast around the world. Although viewing the slides cannot compare to hearing the presentations, here are a few notes from my favorite sessions at WordCamp and BuddyCamp:<\/p>\n
