\"Alternatives<\/a>Do you know a thing or two about embedding videos in WordPress? If so, take heed, because a member of the WPMU community is in need of some good ole’ fashioned WordPress wisdom.<\/p>\n

A blog reader by the name of James has sent us the following correspondence:<\/p>\n

I create screencasts using Quicktime, and then share to Youtube directly from the application.<\/p>\n

What I\u2019d like to be able to do instead, is embed my videos in a WordPress site, so I have a way to broadcast my stuff without relying on YouTube. I want to host the videos on my own server (I’m using Dreamhost).<\/p>\n

Any ideas, plugins, or experience to share?<\/p>\n
