Ad-Sharing plugin Adsense Related Question

Anyone know will Google deactivate your Adsense account if a member is creating unpleasant blogs, and admin is using Ad-Sharing plugin?

I know I should have directed this question at Google, but Google probably won’t even respond to me, so I asked here first to see anyone has experienced this before?

Yes, we had this issue but not with mu installs, it was the elgg setups. We had one install get a warning and another get canceled. The canceled one just went over to CJ afterwards instead of trying to follow up on it so I’m not sure if the issue is solvable or not or if even Google was willing to discuss it. The warning site just removed the adverts from the specific subsite and we never heard anything again.

Easiest way to get around that is to mark those blogs as ‘mature’ and either not display adverts on them or another advertising service. Or even a generic advert for your site.

The specific advertising service depends on what kind of blogs and content we’re talking about. If it;s stuff like warez, I’d suggest a service like adbright. If we’re talking about just mature topic like gay issues which Google does have an occasional issue with, CJ may be a better bet as you can pick and choose between the advertisers. I believe there’s even a couple of alt advertiser systems out there. (I’ll drop an email to the client if you want.)

And again, you can try a service like Project Wonderful and just stick with static adverts. We have a wpmu install that’s looking into this.

The adsense folks usually follow up on content concerns when the site is legit. If they don’t, they’ll send you a "Please don’t contact us again." email.
