Add the access for folder protected site in the Hub or somewhere

I’m trying to connect a site that is folder protected to the Hub and use Automate and your plugins on it. The site is in development and I have protected the folder where WP is installed. To access the folder/site it’s necessary to type a username and password.

I managed to add the site to the hub….BUT…. it seems that anyway, the Hub and Hummingbird are not working properly. I think because of the folder protection.

Would like to know if it would be a way to add the access for folder protection in the Hub or somewhere? Would that be possible?

    The folder protection is set up via htacess.

    I am not a programmer, but with infiniteWp it works to enter the user/pw for folder protection via hub and then use the hub to manage backups and everything via the hub.

    It would be very useful to set up a staging site with the hub features before it goes live. Therefore, if it would be possible to use hub and all features also for staging site, would be useful and necessary. hope this is possible somehow.
