Affiliate plugin – paying for things sold in sublogs?

Hi everybody

I am learning about this plugin and need someone to illuminate me in how this plugin behaves.

I have a community that uses MU (obviously), and I want to allow some registered users to sell my products and to be able to tell how much was sold by whom to pay commissions and if possible to let them see how much they sold without having to call me.

1. Is this plugin able to provide reports back to each affiliate?

2. Should I have a single store for the whole site and each affiliate just point to it, or should I allow my community members to have their own store where they list my products?

3. I have a schema where some affiliates make x% and some others have y%. is this supported?

4. Does it have to be trhough paypal?

    1. Is this plugin able to provide reports back to each affiliate?

    Basic statistics are provided. If you want detailed reports on products sold then you would need to develop a plugin for that or use a 3rd party solution.

    2. Should I have a single store for the whole site and each affiliate just point to it, or should I allow my community members to have their own store where they list my products?

    That’s entirely up to you. I would think a single store would be easier to manage though.

    3. I have a schema where some affiliates make x% and some others have y%. is this supported?

    I’m afraid it’s one setting for all users. You could definitely have someone customize the plugin to meet your needs though.

    4. Does it have to be trhough paypal?

    At the moment PayPal is the only option.
