anoying update message after installing plugin

Hi after installing appointment+ I get a annoying message;

Easily get updates, support, and one-click WPMU DEV plugin/theme installations right from in your dashboard – install the free WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin. (find out more)

How do I remove it? I don’t want the update plugin.

    Hiya @mortydot,

    The notice is provided as a courtesy reminder to install the Dashboard plugin so you’ll get instant access to all WPMUdev updates, forums and other stuff right from your site’s admin area.

    There’s no simple switch to turn it off. So, if you don’t want that reminder staring you in the face (and we can understand that), you will need to open the appointments.php file and comment out the code from lines 8304 to 8366 inclusively.

    Change line 8304 to this:

    /*if ( !class_exists('WPMUDEV_Dashboard_Notice') ) {

    … and change line 8367 to this:

    }*/
