In the WPMU dashboard under /Site name/Automate & Updates/Manual Updates/ where you show the new plugin version number in blue that are available to update, or from the main list of Sites in the Hub Dashboard, when hovering over the ‘Number’ that shows how many updates you have available; Could you please include a drop-down arrow next to each plugin name that shows ‘What’s New’ for the new version of the plugin, similar to what you show in the activity history screen, for past plugin updates.
If you have no ‘What’s New’ details available for a plugin, please include the link to the plugin’s change-log page so we can check what’s changed before proceeding to make any manual updates or allowing the scheduled update in place to proceed.
This feature would speed up our workflow and enable us to quickly decide whether or not to update a plugin, given that the information about the update is only a drop-down or one click away from the change-log page for that plugin (this needs to include every plugin, not just the WPMU plugins).
This helps us make better decisions quickly and avoid potential problems, given that we’ll have more information available to us before clicking the update button!
Many thanks,
Rawson
