Backup hangs

Hi!

At this moment in the hub a backups hangs for days at 0%. In the site it is not visible. A backup does not succeed.

I reset the secret code more than once.

A snapshot succeeds. But the managed backups doesn’t.

Please let me know

    I hope you’re having a great day!

    I can see the backup marked as not uploaded to The Hub right within your site. That would mean that either “something” went wrong during upload or the backup itself is broken. There might also have been some issue with server resources availability. I see that there’s also backup scheduled but it doesn’t seem like it worked.

    I’ll need to investigate this as those issues are usually very individual to the specific site and/or server. To be able to do this, I’ll need direct access credentials to the site and server. Will you be able to provide them?

    Hi Adam,

    I found out i had a few rather large backups that where in the way. Now i tested and if i only want to backup “plugins”it fails backingup this map. The database and all the files before “plugins” the system was able to backup. I use snapshots for this.

    Hi Erik,

    Sorry to hear you had to switch to another solution :slight_frown:

    We are constantly working on further improving Snapshot and getting the backups to work on as many installations as possible, so we would like to investigate this further for you as well if you could setup a staging site on your server where we could do some additional tests.
