[Beehive Pro] Constant Google API Error with Beehive Pro

Hi, I have behive pro setup on all of my websites. I keep getting this error on a majority of my sites every few weeks “Google API Error: Unknown error occurred”. I always have to reconnect my account, but the error usually comes back. Is there any fix to this?

    Hello Kim,

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue.

It is important to note that Google has a hard limit of 50 “refresh tokens” per account.

This means that you can connect up to 50 domains to the same account.

So if you have a lot of sites, or a multi-site with a lot of domain-mapped subsites, you might actually hit that limit, and random sites will start displaying “unknown error occurred” messages.

Workarounds for the above situation could be to have only 45-50 sites on one account, and create a different account for additional sites.

Or add an additional user to your account to be able to add more sites to that account as that additional user.

I would also like to suggest you to update Beehive Pro from Version 3.2.7 to Version 3.2.8.

Please let us know if that helps!

    Best regards,
    Gustavo
