[Beehive Pro] How to have BeeHive NOT add the tracking code because I have added it otherwise alre

Due to german DSGVO (GDPR) I am using a cookie consent tool which requires me to add a modified Google Analytics and Tag Manager Tracking Code. That is to make sure Visitors can easily opt in and out of Google Analytics Tracking of the website.
I quite like the way Beehive shows the statistics in the backend, so I added the plugin.
BUT
My problem is: now I have two tracking codes in my pages. One is the “correct” one which I have entered according to the cookie consent tool – and one that BeeHive added.

I would like to make BeeHive NOT enter the second tracking code.

How to do this?

Hope you are doing fine!

The Beehive tracking code can be disabled using a mu-plugin. Please create a php file with the following code:
```
<?php

add_filter( 'beehive_google_enable_tracking', '__return_false' );
```
The file needs to be added to the /wp-content/mu-plugins folder.

This function will remove the tracking code generated by Beehive in all your pages.

Yes, you could add the code using the Code Snippets Plugin as displayed below.

Just this line needs to be added:

add_filter( 'beehive_google_enable_tracking', '__return_false' );
