Beehive Pro Not Adding tracking Code

I have the Automatically add the Google Analytics tracking code to the <head> of my site enabled, but it didn’t add the code automatically on my <head>. I had to add it manually on Tracking ID setting, is it expected behaviour?

    Hi Marcin ,

I had to add it manually on Tracking ID setting, is it expected behaviour?

This isn’t the expected behaviour. If “Automatically add the Google Analytics tracking code to the <head> of my site” checkbox is checked, it should automatically add the code in the frontend without manually adding the tracking ID.

I checked your website and could notice the UA code only gets added once added inside Tracking ID.

I tried to replicate this on my system but not able to replicate any such issue, it works fine once I enable the checkbox, and without adding the tracking ID manually. Are you able to replicate the same in any other website? Could you please temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty, and then check whether you could replicate the same issue or not?

If the issue exists even after that and since I don’t see you mention about running a conflict test, is it possible for you to check whether you get the same results if you disable all the plugins except WPMU DEV Dashboard and Beehive plugin?

This would give a better idea regarding whether it’s a conflict or something specific on the website side or not.

Looking forward to your response so that we could check further if needed. Have a nice day ahead.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin
