Buddypress Business Theme – Featured Pictures replicating

I’ve just installed the new Buddypress Magazine theme. It appears the images replicate themselves to fill the allocated image space, rather than centering in the space as indicated in the documentation.

I’ve included a screenshot. I’ve tried different sizes of images with similar results. Including one that was both taller and wider than the image space. It was reduced and replicated in a tiled manner.

    @cdkrauth: Do you mean BuddyPress Magazine or BuddyPress Business as you say one theme in your title and another in your post so checking. Either way though the way that post images / thumbnails work is by either you setting the size to thumbnail, medium or large in the theme options.

    The idea is that if those image sizes scale down to smaller than the space it will repeat as they are background images. You can if using thumbnail set to medium and it will show a center part of the image. They are designed to show ‘parts’ of the images. Should you wish however to just show one smaller you can edit the theme template to stop the image repeating by removing the background repeat. I think though by changing those settings I mentioned it would get what you want.
