Can this be done?

Hello, ok wondering if this can be done.

I have installed the plugin ‘who sees ads’ i understand how this works but what i am wondering is can this scenario work?

Have ‘show ads’ set to search engine only, but what also want to do is allow users to always display adsense on their blog if they wish with revenue sharing!

I believe i would also need the adsense-deluxe plugin as well, can these two work together and is this scenario possible?

many thanks

When you say allowing users to display their own adsense, I’m assuming you mean in a widget or something along those lines. The problem with that would be you’d wind up with two different adsense accounts being shown on the same page and Google will cancel the accounts if that occurs.

I think that would be an excellent premium plugin… but you would have to be careful in terms of the number of ad units displayed.

I’m guessing that it’d work something like this:

    1. Create ad code and rules using WSA

    2. Place ad(s) via hard code in themes

    3. Give user an option in settings to add their own ad code(s)

    4. Rotate your WSA ad codes with their ad code (on a ratio you choose)

    Sound about right?

Thanks for replies, i know there are a number of share revenue plugins but what i would like is for them to work with the ‘who sees ads’ plugin so if a user does not want to use there own adsense code on their blog then adsense would be set site wide using criteria via ‘who sees ‘ads’ plugin which i would set to ‘search engine only’.

However if they do want to add their own adsense code then it they also should be able to set if when ads are displayed, they might want it for all users which would be good for them and for me in term of revenue.

What this means is that is a user if entering own adsense code can override default with ‘positive’ settings for who to display ads to but cannot set it negatively, meaning they can increase display of ads but not decrease.

Now i believe the ‘who sees it’ plug is compatible with ‘adsense-delux’, ‘who sees it’ controls who sees ads whereas ‘adsense-delux’ allows revenue sharing, but sure how they work together and if they can achieve what i would like?

drmike – Google allows to place ads with two different publisher ids on the same page – see the comments on that post.

elad, if that’s true, then that’s a change in policy and a recent one. We had a client get nailed for it a few months ago. They had theirs in the admin bar along the top and had endusers in their sidebars. Google took exception to it.

    My exact question was:

“Can I place ads with two different publisher ids on the same page?”

    And the answer was:

“This does comply with our policies.

Please be aware that every AdSense publisher is responsible for the

content of any website on which their ad code is placed. If a website is

found in violation of our program policies, we’ll notify any publisher(s)

whose ad code is on the website, and ask that they each remove their

    Google code from that site.”
