Can’t update Jetpack plugin.

I am trying to update Jetpack plugin but it’s giving me an error saying: “Couldn’t update the plugin”. But I was able to update other plugins and it was working. Only having issues with Jetpack. Can you help me fixing this?

    Hi Benjamin ,

    I had a closer look but I’m afraid that I was unable to find the cause of the issues, and there are multiple things that could be causing this.
    It’s possible that the issue is somewhere between the version numbers and that 7.9 is having issues updating to 8.3 directly, but this is something that would need to be checked with Jetpack support.

    I also tried searching the error shown in your logs and stumbled upon this thread that might help you with checking things from your server end:

    We could upload a fresh latest version via FTP but I’m not familiar with Jetpack updates and if jump from 7.9 to 8.3 could cause some loss in plugin settings if the update is done this way.
    We could give this a try if you have a backup ready so we make sure that if some settings get lost you can revert back?
