Categories in Group Forums

Hi, I think it would be very useful to be able to creat categories in the forums inside the groups. Otherwise, so much information accumulates without any order it becomes very hard to find anything. Thanks.

    Hello Bea,

    I’ll run this one by the team over here and see what kinds of plans are in store for the Forums plugin, and see how viable category integration might be.

    There were others around here requesting various things related to the Forums plugin lately, but anyone else here interested in categories as such?

    Yeah, would be cool to see if there is more interest in this.

    Also, will be interesting to see what takes shape as bbPress (which BuddyPress uses for forums) becomes a stand-alone plugin for WordPress. This is a space that is changing quite a bit so something like this may be much easier in a few months.
