Cloner and Snapshot – neither working for my subdomains

I have tried both Cloner and Snapshot on my new multisite. Both plugins work on main network site level, but neither work on subdomains. I have the main network site set as http://www.nd2no.net, so when I type in a subdomain – no matter if I type just type leonspringscommunites or the entire URL leonspringscommunites.nd2no.net – both plugins try to put in www, as leonspringscommunites. http://www.nd2no.net, which of course causes errors in both plugins. These 2 plugins were the reason I signed up for your membership so I need to know what to do to resolve this error.

Hello there @networkadmin, I hope you’re well today!

Could you please grant us access to your backend so that we may see exactly what is happening?

To do so, from your dashboard go to WPMUDEV => Support => Support Access and click on the “Grant access” button.

Please note that you must have the WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin installed on your site to complete the above process.

    Cheers,

    Ari.

I have granted support access – still no support login shows – I have tried both Cloner and Snapshot on my new multisite. Both plugins work on main network site level, but neither work on subdomains. I have the main network site set as www . nd2no . net (without spaces), so when I type in a subdomain – no matter if I type just type leonspringscommunites or the entire URL leonspringscommunites.nd2no.net – both plugins try to put in www , as:

leonspringscommunites . www . nd2no . net (without spaces) , which of course causes errors in both plugins. These 2 plugins were the reason I signed up for your membership so I need to know what to do to resolve this error.

    Hey networkadmin,

Hope you’re doing well today and very sorry for the delay here! Ari is no longer working with us so I’m just cleaning up some past threads.

Multisite do tend to function a lot better when on non-www. I see your main site is still www. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, could you grant us access so we can take a closer look?

You can grant support access via admin dashboard – WPMU DEV > Support > Support Access > Grant Access.

    Look forward to hearing back!

    All the best,

    Tyler
