Sometimes a few images are cloned and other times not.

    Hello Mohammed,

Can you tell me if your Multisite was updated from quite old version (like 3.4) of WordPress or was installed on server with automatic installer? Do you see any issues when you update plugins/themes and try to upgrade whole Network?

Did you change defaults paths for images recently?

From my test on your site issue is that images that are not copied have different paths than files that are copied and I’m trying to find reason for this.

    kind regards,

    Kasia

    Hello Mohammed,

Thank you for additional info. I checked again your site and problematic images have correct paths in media library, but while cloning they are not the same.

I tried to replicate this issue by setting up old WordPress multisite and then upgrading and then cloning site and I got similar issue (images were not cloning from previous version).

On my site I was able to fix it by replacing old htaccess and wp-config.php defines for the new Multisite version.

I can see that your htaccess has new rules, but what about wp-config.php? With support access I’m not able to check that. Can you make sure that entires from here /wp-admin/network/setup.php are the same in files?

    kind regards,

    Kasia

    Hello Mohammed,

I’m very sorry for the delay on my end!

If you go to http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/network/setup.php you will see this is Network Setup

page where you have two sets of rules: first is for wp-config.php and second if for htaccess file.

I was had similar issue when rules after update were not matching – so I’m asking if you can check if they are the same in Network Setup and in wp-config.php file.

    kind regards,

    Kasia
