Content description is not the same between Auto-Post and Like

Hi there, I realised that the content displayed in Facebook is different between Auto-Post and Like, with the latter being the better one.

Here’s how it looks like when I used Auto-Post:

[attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

And here’s how it looks like when I like the post:

[attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

Can it be made so that it looks the same for both options, just like how “Like” handles it?

    Hi flashmech,

    There’s not a way to change that at this point, except maybe by altering the plugin code. However, it’s a useful idea for sure, as you’d have more of the post available.

    It would be good to get an idea for what others around here think of it, so I hope you don’t mind my moving this to the feature suggestion forum so we can take a look at that.

    Anyone else looking for the auto-posting being more like the Like post?

    Thanks David for getting back. :slight_smile: Well while I'm not entirely sure myself, maybe there's a way to grab the excerpt instead for the auto-post. I realised that when the auto-post is done, it strips off some tags (it may be all), which makes for some broken english excerpt when it is viewed on Facebook.

    Here's an example of a previous auto-post to facebook, for example.
