Coursepress unit/section has bad link

I have setup my coursepress and transferred my course into it, but one of the unit sections has an invalid link. It has this https://accumatchbi.com/training/downloads/ms_5058. instead of page link.

It’s unit labelled 20. Convincer Channel.

    Hello Nagui

I hope you are well today.

The URL you shared is a link to an image that is being protected by Membership 2 Pro’s Media Protection Add-on. Once logged into your site, I was able to access this image without issue. What is happening when you try to access the link?

Also, would you please let me know which subsite the course is on so I can look into this issue further for you?

    Best regards,

    James Morris

    James,

    The subsite is training courses.

    The unit Accumatch Processes Traits

    First section 20. Convincer Channel

If you view the course as a trainee and try to access this unit/section directly from the course page, you’ll see that instead of being able to access the section page, the user is presented with this image and cannot proceed past that.

    Thanks.

    Nagui

    Hello Nagui

I’m terribly sorry for the delay on this issue. I’ve been looking into this further. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the symptoms I see on your site on my own test environment. Though the problem is definitely there on your site. Basically, what’s happening is Membership 2 Pro is applying the Media Protection add-on function to that link and that link only. Which doesn’t really make sense given that the section is not an image section.

In order to help you better with your issue, would you please grant me access to your site and server so I can perform some advanced debugging?

    Hello Nagui

Thank you for getting that information into me. Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to determine the exact cause for why Membership 2 Pro’s Media Protection add-on is masking that one single link, but that is what is happening at this time.

What I’ve done is collected as much diagnostic information as possible and flagged our SLS Team (code experts) so that they can investigate this issue further for you. Please keep in mind that SLS deals with more advanced issues and may take a bit longer to reply. An update will be posted here as soon as more information is available.

    Best regards,

    James Morris

    Hello Nagui

I am terribly sorry for the delay here. I’ve pinged our SLS Team again regarding this issue. In the meantime, if you disable the Media Protection Add-on in Membership 2 Pro, this will solve the link problem. Our team will look into this issue as soon as possible.

    Best regards,

    James Morris
