Custom Admin Bar make links open new browser window.

Hi,

Can anyone point me to the location to make the links in the custom admin bar plugin open a new browser window.

    Hi Nick.

    Those links all open internally within the same browser tab I believe.

    It would be an excellent addition to be able to define which one is target=”_blank” for a new tab and which is not.

    Lets make this a feature request.

    would you want all the links to be opened in a new browser window?

    Good question.

    I think, external links to target=”_blank” and other general site navigation to self.

    Just a personal choice but I hate it when links take you away from the original site. It’s no problem to control click but a waste of valuable time and energy when you have to hit the back button to do this.

    I guess I am a little Lazy. lol

    I also feel it doesn’t make a lot of sense to send people away from your site with no easy way back.
