Defender file scan notifications

I’ve been using Defender Pro for a while and was receiving email notifications once a daily scan or manual scan was complete.

But recently, I was informed that it wasn’t just me receiving the email notifications and it was causing a nuisance for someone else.

So last week I went into settings and disabled notifications for manual scans, however, I seemed to have stopped getting notifications for daily scans as well but that still says it’s activated.

    I’ve also tested it on my test site and can confirm the behavior. It seems that there’s a bug then that will have to be fixed so I’ve already reported it to our developers.

    They will look into it in order to find a solution and release a fix so please keep Defender up to date as the fix will most likely be included in one of upcoming updates. Please also keep an eye on this ticket in case we had any additional information for you meanwhile.

    Hi,

    I was wondering if there was an update to the situation as I’ve been without email notifications for scans for a while now and I’ve been having to manually log in to each of my sites and run defender pro and check results.

    When is the update going to be pushed out?

    I understand that this is important but I’m afraid I don’t have any ETA or updates on it yet. I’ve reported it as a bug to our developers and they’re looking into. I have no information about planned release of the fix yet though.

    We do, however, develop Defender quite intensively so I believe it shouldn’t take to long to get addressed.
