[Defender Pro] Cannot action item 'Prevent Information Disclosure '

This annoys me. It’s a recurring item with all my WPMU hosted sites. This action in Defender ‘Prevent Information Disclosure ‘ cannot be actioned by the plugin for NGINX servers – which is not at all obvious by the way. It then requires me to go to a file you do not allow access to with your hosting and make manual changes. This seems incredibly easy for you to resolve (if it’s not that should be your problem not mine). As it is, I cannot resolve this Security point from Defender and I am fed up of it coming up on every one of my sites constantly. I can see NO way I can action this as recommended! Please advise.

    Hi Rob

    Hope you are doing well.

We are aware of this, it is a false-positive, the rules are applied by default on WPMU DEV hosting, not extra step is required. Defender still reporting it because we allow the TXT file now on wp-content once some plugins use this to run some tests, and the Defender rules it ask to not allow TXT files.

However, this will be fixed on Defender and the warning will be gone as soon the Defender that contains the fix be released, please, keep eyes on Defender updates and changelogs.

Let us know if you need any further help on this.
    Best Regards
