[Defender Pro] Defender – Free Plugin?

Do you need to be a WPMU member to have Defender applied to your website or is this free for anyone to use?

    Hi Raghavendra,

    Hope you’re doing well :slight_smile:

    Defender has both free (available on wp.org) and Pro versions, and in order to use all of the Pro features you need to have your site connected to your WPMU DEV account via WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin.

    If the account expires or the site gets disconnected then the Pro features that require API connection will stop working.

    If you are wondering about using Defender on your client sites, you can use it on any number of sites, all you need to do is to connect them via WPMU DEV Dashboard as mentioned above.
