[Defender Pro] Defender: Support ‘Actions’ for Recaptcha v3

0

The reCAPTCHA v3 API supports a concept called ‘actions’: https://developers.example.com/recaptcha/docs/v3#actions

When submitted with the other recapture data, it allows discerning which action the user was trying to preform when the reCAPTCHA was or wasn’t verified. Please add support to Defender so that it sends a unique action per location (e.g.: login, register, woocommerce registration, and so on,) so that the data reported by the reCAPTCHA dashboard can be better analyzed.

    Fantastic, Patrick!

I also didn’t find any related request when I searched. I had only moved most of my sites to using v3 somewhat recently, so the feature was one I wasn’t even aware of having used v2 for so long. I hope the Defender team finds adding support for actions a quick and easy, low hanging fruit change.

    Cheers and thanks!
