[Defender Pro] Defender Weirdness

I changed and saved the lockout period to 30 hours. When I receive a notice by email of a lockout it says the lockout is for 30 seconds. I have as a result changed it to a lockout of 3600 minutes, Have not as yet received a notice so I don’t know if that was successful.

    I checked the issue on my test site and I was able to replicate it on my end. After a little investigating I found that login lockout duration functionality on Defender Pro login protection section actually works. However the issue is on login lockout notification email.

    To test the issue, I set login lockout duration value to 300 minutes. When the failed login attempts reached to the Threshold value then I got the login lockout notification email where lockout duration showed 300 seconds. Then I set the lockout duration to 5 minutes and repeated the test. This time notification email showed 5 seconds lockout duration.

    When lockout duration was set to 5 minutes, I was checking if a locked out user can access the login page after 5 seconds or after 5 minutes. I found that, those who are already locked out can access the login page only after 5 minutes.

    So, it seems that login lockout duration functionality actually works. But whatever Duration is set on login protection section, the notification email always shows the duration in second instead of actual unit (minutes or hours) which seems a bug.

    I have reported this issue to our developer and they will give a closer look on this. Please note, developer’s response might be slower than usual staff response, so we appreciate your patience on this.
