DEFENDER is currently checking the files for malware, but not the posts content or other parts of the database.
But the DB can contain malware too, e.g. after a clients hosting-account got compromised.
Since it’s really difficult to tell, if the site got hacked via the WP-installation or the hosting-account, I need to perform a database scan too, using additional Malware-Scan-Solutions.
It would be good, if you would add this feature to Defender.
Oh, and even better, if Defender would stop slowing down the dashboard, too :wink: It always adds 1-3 seconds load when working in admin-area, which is actually why I have stopped using Defender to be honest. I may start using it again for db-scanning feature though …
