Disable sign up form and change label of search button

Hi

I am using the Premium Buddy press theme I would like to know where to go in the code to do the following

1) Temporarily disable the sign up form and hide it from users

2) Change the label of the search button to at least 30 characters

    Hi Richie,

    I am using the Corporate theme and Community theme. I did disable the signup function in admin, however it still shows up on the theme and it is a bit confusing.
