does tag feed pull tags?

The tag-feed plugin works great but I am trying to determine whether or not it also pulls the tags associated with the posts that it aggregates.

For example, we have students writing book reviews and they choose category Book Review – all of these get pulled into one feed with tag-feed- nice!

But – if they tag, not category, those posts with "adventure" or "sports" in addition to the necessary category, does tag-feed pull that information as well?

Using Feedwordpress to pull all of these posts into one blog and trying to figure out if this is a tag-feed issue or a FeedWordPress issue.

    Hey Andrew – thanks – so if I am using a plugin like FeedWordPress, Autoblog, etc to create posts in a different blog from a tag-feed feed – would the tag-feed feed include other tags that were part of the original post?

    ex. If tag-feed is pulling "cats" but I have also tagged that post with "hairball" would "hairball" appear as a tag in the new post created by FeedWordpress, Autoblog?

    Currently, using Feedwordpress it isn’t – but not sure if that is because of the feed not pulling it or Feedwordpress not pulling it.

    Sorry – this isn’t easy to explain – hope you understand.

    I’m afraid I can’t comment on other plugins since they’re not ours but our Autoblog plugin pulls in categories as tags.
