Error establishing a database connection

I was uploading an additional website using ALL IN ONE MIGRATION to my multisite installation and then hell broke lose

    Hello there Giovanni Frino,

    hope you're doing well!

    Inspecting the error logs found in our hosting panel, I noticed a broken wp-config.php file. So I went ahead and reset this file, you can also do that from here:

    [attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

    Then there was a "500 internal server error" and from PHP error logs again, I noticed that a theme file from TwentyNineteen was corrupted (wp-content/themes/twentynineteen/inc/customizer.php). I compared this file with the file of the official release, reverted any changes and that was it, the website is back!

    Please do review it and let me know if there's anything else not working there. :slight_smile:

    HI there,

    the problem still remain, I tried to upload another website using ALL IN ONE Migration, to add a website to my multisite and I run into the same problem that the Database connection went away. Now I knew how to fix it so I did, but there is still a problem in my hosting, I don’t manage to upload backup files from All In One Migration (1GB files) to add new websites, when I do that I break the whole multisite.

    Is this the same issue as in this ticket and as we discussed on LiveChat?

    If it is, you can reopen that other ticket by replying there. If not, please describe in a bit more detail what happens when you upload the file and what happens to the multisite, besides database connection being broken.

    Well I managed to upload all the websites I needed to upload till now, looks like if I wait a bit from one upload to another and I clear the cache, then the next upload goes fine. So I’m marking this ticket as solved. Thank you guys, you are truly superheroes :slight_smile:
