Farms 100 Themes…which ones are they?

So, I’ve added the updated themes and some appear to have updated in the old theme folder. Others made new theme folders…meaning I’ve got multiples of the same theme now.

Which ones are the new ones?

For example:

stripedplus

stripedplus-10

I assume the -10 is for 2010? But then again, there are some -wp’s and -91’s…nothing consistent.

The actual folder in the download called it just stripedplus.

I’ve got 22 duplicate themes now and I don’t know which are new and which are old. And, i don’t want to delete the old ones in case they are in use.

What do i do?

I didn’t think any of the new versions of the Farms 100 had been uploaded to WPMU DEV but Richie should be able to confirm. However, I do know on Edublogs the folder name change was from the stripedplus-10 -> stripedplus.

My understanding is the plan is to include folder instructions with the new release. I would wait for confirmation from Richie and the folder instructions because deleting a theme being used by a blog will cause problems.

Since the question is “Farms 100 Themes…which ones are they?”

I want to know what themes they are. Are those a free themes available for download or is it the same ones from WP.com?

Where did the themes come from and on which basis were the themes chosen?

    Thanks.

They’re the free themes that anyone can download although fixes have been applied. wp.com hasn’t released their themes. The ones on their SVN are just a testbed.

edit: I think James choose ones that he thought that looked pretty.

We remove everything else though.

We do put in a link back to the main site though along with any links the client wants like to the support forum, get a new blog landing page, etc. We do that with a simple plugin that hooks into wp_footer.

Premium themes (Assuming that you mean the ones that you have to pay for, not the ones here from the premium site) depend on the licensing of that theme. Do note though that some designers prohibit their themes from appearing on wpmu install.
