[Forminator Pro] Customization Request – Display Uploaded Images in PDF and Auto-Delete After Do

0

Our requirements are:

When the admin downloads a PDF of a form submission, the uploaded images (driver’s license and signature) should appear directly in the PDF, not just as links.

After the PDF is generated and downloaded, those uploaded image files should be automatically deleted from the server for security reasons.

    Hi Mark Earl

I hope you are doing well today.

At this moment, it’s not possible to configure Forminator in order to show the image in a PDF document that was uploaded using the Upload Field.

Our development team is aware of this, and they are working to improve how the plugin works. That being said, I’m not able to provide an ETA for when this feature will be available in a new update.

When it comes to deleting images from the server, please note that you can set up Submissions Retention for 1 day. With that, you will have 24h to check your email, download the PDF, and image. After 24h, images related to each submission will be deleted automatically from the server.

In the best scenario for you, the Submissions Retention should be set up as 0 days. With that signature, and image will exist only in PDF in your email. However, as mentioned above, the current state of the Formiantor core does not allow for placing uploaded images in a PDF. I have pinged out the Forminator Team about the ETA of this case.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
